How ExtraBrain AI credits work

ExtraBrain AI is the managed AI provider built into the app: no API key or provider account needed. Credits pay only for ExtraBrain AI requests.

Which plans include credits

Pro Monthly, Pro Yearly, and the Job Search Pass include 1,000 ExtraBrain AI credits each month. The 14-day Pro trial includes 500. Free and Lifetime include none.

Monthly allowances, no rollover

Each month starts with a fresh 1,000-credit allowance. Unused credits expire at the end of that month and do not carry over.

Yearly and Job Search Pass unlock monthly

Pro Yearly gives 12 monthly allowances and the Job Search Pass gives 3. Each unlocks at the start of its month, so you cannot spend a whole year or pass at once.

One balance, any reasoning effort

The same balance covers every ExtraBrain AI reasoning-effort level. Higher effort can improve complex answers and uses more credits per request.

No top-ups

Credits cannot be bought separately. When a month runs out, ExtraBrain AI pauses until the next allowance while local Gemma and your own providers keep working.

Your own providers stay separate

Credits do not pay for your own OpenAI, Anthropic, Claude, Codex, Deepgram, or custom-endpoint usage. Those accounts bill you directly.
