Billing And Pro Plan
Open Settings → Plan & Billing to view your plan, purchase source, status, and available offers. Prices and terms shown at checkout or by Apple apply to the purchase you choose.
Free And Pro
Section titled “Free And Pro”The core workflow is free with no session limits. It supports local Gemma, your own provider connections, local transcription, screenshots, built-in profiles, and manual analysis. Phone Control is free in supported builds.
Pro unlocks:
- Automatic answers for detected questions and topics.
- Custom profiles and your own chat actions.
- Full post-session summaries and session insights. Free shows the first paragraph of each summary.
- Top-tier models with your own keys or subscriptions, such as Claude Opus and OpenAI’s flagship models.
- ExtraBrain AI, on plans that include credits.
Every paid plan unlocks the same Pro features. An ExtraBrain plan does not grant access to a separate ChatGPT, Claude, OpenAI, Anthropic, or Deepgram account.

Mac App Store prices are set by Apple and can differ by region.
How credits work:
- Each month starts with a fresh allowance. Unused credits do not roll over.
- Pro Yearly and the Job Search Pass unlock one allowance per month, not the whole term at once.
- Credits cannot be bought separately.
- One balance covers every reasoning-effort level. Higher effort uses more credits per request.
- Refunding a payment removes the credits it granted.
Check your eligibility and remaining balance under AI Providers → ExtraBrain AI. When credits run out, ExtraBrain AI pauses until your next allowance. Local Gemma and your own providers keep working.
External Provider Billing
Section titled “External Provider Billing”When you select your own API, subscription, or custom endpoint, that provider controls its costs, quota, access, and policies. Deepgram transcription uses your Deepgram account. ExtraBrain AI credits do not pay those external account charges.
Local Parakeet, compatible Apple Speech, and local Gemma do not need cloud AI credits for their local processing. Initial downloads and local resource requirements still apply.
Purchase Or Restore
Section titled “Purchase Or Restore”- Direct download: choose a direct plan or activate your license key. The app can offer a 14-day Pro trial with 500 credits for eligible devices, with no credit card.
- Mac App Store: purchase through Apple or use Restore Purchases with the original Apple account. Prices and offers are loaded from Apple.
